| Customer Reviews: Flies straight July 13, 2010 George 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When shooting the bolts from 30 feet, all bolts landed within 1" of the bulls eye, so they appear to fly straight. The inaccuracy is likely due to my lack of proficiency with a cross bow or the cheap crossbow I was using.
Too fragile January 14, 2010 Hank G. I have the 80 lb Cobra crossbow pistol, which is great. It came with three of these aluminum bolts and I ordered an extra pack of 12 aluminum bolts. Well, these bolts are terribly fragile. The plastic rear section that includes the fletching (fins) is quite brittle and breaks off easily. Once it breaks, they are not repairable. What can cause them to break? Almost anything. A target that's a little too hard, a slightly angled impact, etc. Order the plastic bolts available from Amazon and other sites. These plastic bolts are single piece, molded with a metal tip and are virtually unbreakable. Occasionally a metal tip will come off, but they are easy to glue back on with Superglue or any strong adhesive.
DON'T July 10, 2009 Milagros M. De Galdos they break VERY easily, when they penetrate a slightly hard surface (a hard tree for instance) the black part pops out...I could almost say these bolts are for only one shot. However, the problem may be that my pistol crossbow (80lb) is too powerful for these...
Works as advertised April 10, 2009 Gordon Ewasiuk (Washington, DC) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Plunk, plunk, plunk. These bolts work as advertised. They are fun to fire. Don't see them lasting more than one shot though.

This 12-pack is a great deal for the price. However, I was hoping that the bolts would come with threaded or screwed-on heads instead of glued-on heads. The threaded version holds up much better for longer use. Unfortunately this version of the pistol bolts came with glued-on heads.
